As I understand it, Legacy was originally kpuver and now Harlequin Teen is picking it up, but apparently, they didn’t want to waste money legach an editor or Kluver had enough pull to be able to reject every rational change. I especially hated the way that the audience is being ‘forced’ into this farce that is the Alera-Narian relationship. I was a bit worried about the length of Legacy, but I didn’t get bored on a single page, and it never felt tedious.

I was very touched when he even went as far as to give her a kitten to lift her spirits. But for god shake’s, she is a queen now! Too bad all the suitors are either boring or full of themselves – and the only boy that Alera finds remotely interesting is the Narian who had been kidnapped by the Cokyrians during the war and recently escaped from their clutches.

He has made many choices that make him seem much less the hero and much more the villan. Alera is boring and rather slow on the uptake — a painful example of a heroine that we’re supposed to like just because we’re told to, without any reasons. Alera wants to find more about it, but her father feels that she should focus her pretty, little head on deciding which suitor to marry and leave all the war concerns to him.

The character development that went into Steldor led me to believe that the author would finally take this story in the right direction. Honestly, if I were in Hytanica, I would consider doing the whole country a favor and assassinating her. Sacrifice is told through the dual perspectives of Alera, the fallen Queen of a conquered kingdom, and Shaselle, a rebel whose father was murdered.

Alera’s bodyguard London is the most awesomnest secondary character ever. The ending is quite abrupt – I thought it was a rather awkward point of the story to end on – just when Alera’s heart begins to break!

Originally posted on The Authoress: He seems mature for his age. Una lectura muy aburrida, vueltas y vueltas sobre nada, puras descripciones sobre vestidos y chicos apuestos, no pasaba NADA. Well, specific instances come to mind: A dragging plotline was there a plot? The author is very young, but extremely talented and gifted. I hope the characters kick it up a notch or two in time for the sequel fayla, if not, I don’t know if the story will be enough for me to continue on. It took me one day to read it because there was so much going on that I could not put it down.

The pattern in Korean dramas is generally that in order for the main couple’s love to survive, someone also in love with one of the couple has to turn crazy or evil.

Legacy Series by Cayla Kluver

The characters were more real in this book; we were able t First thoughts: In her seventeenth year, Princess Alera of Hytanica faces one duty: The cast of characters is incredible and very deeply portrayed, one can see that the author spend time with her characters and each of them got the same love from her. The ending was fair, not predictable and felt like it reached closer.

There was no character development whatsoever in terms of the main character, Alera. This idea of “you can’t help who you caya, even if it ends up hurting you” that Kluver returns to again and again, has got to have limits, for goodness’ sake. Published June 28th by HarlequinTeen first published August 4th Though there were a few bumps here and there that I didn’t like spoilers: So, will I continue with the series and read Allegiance?

But, Cayla was only fifteen when she wrote this, so I figure Legacy by Cayla Kluver is the first in the Legacy trilogy. I only thought I hated ,egacy heroine from Andrea Cremer’s Nightshade.

Legacy (Legacy, #1) by Cayla Kluver

Legacy is about Princess Alera of Hytanica, destined to marry the future legavy. This was really terrible. Harlequin Teen; Original edition February 28, Length: In my eyes, Alera is simply a figurehead for Hytanica, but she continues to lack the ability to take care of herself or her kingdom and does not appreciate a good man when he is standing in right front of her.

I had been pretty excited to read this novel. No, cancel Yes, report it Thanks! Narian shows up infreqently but gets some development too.

Courage won’t be enough. Cayla wrote this book when she was only 14 years old!

About that third book.
